who have authored these Lenten meditations, provide us with a window into God's call to us in this holy season of Lent.
Their words probe God's invitation to open our hearts to receive and to share with one another the gift of redemption that has been attained for us by Christ's passion, death and resurrection.
The cross draws our attention to the expanse of God's love and desire to embrace all people with the fullness of life in God's kingdom.
May our engagement of their words and of God's word in this season of fasting, prayer and almsgiving be a moment of grace and new life.
