Auditing a Course
Students may enroll in courses on an “audit” basis, for no academic credit during the first two weeks of the semester with the approval of the course instructor and by submitting a Course Audit Approval Form to the Registrar's Office.
The audit is recorded as “AU”, but no grade or credits are assigned. An auditor is expected to attend all classes, but is not required to complete assignments or to take examinations. The Instructor is not required to grade any papers or examinations submitted by an auditor. Audited classes may not be used to fulfill degree requirements.
The fee for auditing is one-half the tuition fee of the course, unless it is being taken as part of a full-time courseload.
