Dr. Pazin joined the Biology Department as a fellow in the Fall of 2012. She came to Stonehill from the Department of Developmental Biology at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where she was a postdoctoral fellow investigating the embryonic origins of the meniscus. Dr. Pazin received her Ph.D. from Boston University School of Medicine where her doctoral dissertation focused on extracellular matrix-associated proteins in fetal gonad and reproductive tract development.
Research Interests:
Dr. Pazin is a developmental biologist interested in answering questions of how complex tissues are specified. Her most recent work has focused on joint formation in limbs.
