Groups selected to participate will have the opportunity to live and work together around a common purpose or theme. Living together allows you to live, study, and learn together to achieve the goals you set out to achieve for you and your friends.
In the past, special interest themes have centered around the study of foreign languages, wellness initiatives, environmental concerns, international experiences, community service, and social justice.
What Are The Advantages of Special Interest Housing?
- It allows students to personalize their residential experience and tailor it to their own unique needs.
- It extends learning outside the classroom and enhances the residential experience and the overall campus climate.
- It's an exciting way to increase faculty and staff involvement in the residence halls.
What Are The Timelines For Submitting An Application?
Applications are due at 4:30 PM at the Residence Life Office in Duffy 145 on Friday, February 3rd.
