The Lottery Committee consists of students representing all residence areas on campus. At least two representatives from each residence are are appointed to sit on the committee and report back to their respective hall councils. In addition, the Associate Director of Residence Life and a Residence Director or Area Coordinator sit on the committee to provide guidance and support.
The Lottery Committee is co-chaired by the Associate Director of Residence Life and one student elected by his/her peers during the first meeting of the academic year.
The committee continues to seek input from hall councils and individual students about issues concerning the merit point system. If you are interested in becoming a member of the Lottery Committee, please speak with your Residence Director or Area Coordinator during the first week of the new academic year.
