South Shore Stars names 2012 ‘40 Under 40 Awards’ Recipients

A victim's advocate, a theatre school director and a farm manager are among the South Shore leaders selected as recipients of 40 Under 40 Awards, from South Shore Stars, a non-profit child and youth development program.
The awards acknowledge professional accomplishment, civic engagement and leadership potential. This year's recipients include such varied occupations as city planner, college athletic coach, financial advisor and community health and wellness outreach supervisor.
This year's recipients are:
Nadine Aniello, 39, of Braintree, owner of Bling Boutique; Keith Asack, 23, of Stoughton, owner and lead engineer of Keep the Edge Studio; Alexandra Avedisian, 38, of Brockton, community health and wellness outreach supervisor, Brockton Neighborhood Health Center; Chris Cassani, 27, of Cambridge, director of constituent services for the City of Quincy.
Theodore Ciolkosz Jr., 36 of Hingham, financial advisor with Investment Advisory Group; Michael Connolly, 35, of Quincy, manager of New England account development for Windstream; Dr. Jennifer Curtis-Whipple, 39 of Weymouth, principal, Weymouth Public Schools; Jonathan Dunn, 32, of Norwell, owner of Lavishly Dunn Catering.

This year's awards will be presented at a reception at 7 p.m. Sept. 28 at Siros on the boardwalk at Quincy's Marina Bay. Local news anchor Chet Curtis is honorary chairman for the event.
