Monday, May 21

4:00     Arriving/Getting settled

6:00     Dinner introductions and an overview of the retreat schedule

Evening     Stacy Grooters presents an "Introduction to SOTL"

Tuesday, May 22

Morning     Quiet writing time

Noon     Lunch (also time for informal discussion/"trouble-shooting" of questions that have come up in that morning's work)

Early afternoon     Quiet writing time (with an optional discussion about how to do research and avoid burnout during the school year; introduction to Agraphia Groups)

Late afternoon     Free time and then dinner

Evening     Three project presentations and discussion

Wednesday, May 23

Morning     Quiet writing time

Noon     Lunch with Joe Favazza

Early afternoon     Optional discussion with Joe Favazza concerning the nature of SOTL, and how it fits into our professional lives at Stonehill 

Late afternoon     Free time and then dinner

Evening     Three project presentations and discussion

Thursday, May 24

Morning     Quiet writing time

10:00     Packing up and final "debriefing"
