Technology in the Classroom
All centrally-scheduled classrooms are equipped with technology that includes most commonly requested audiovisual and computer equipment. These systems are primarily Windows 7-based machines supported by Information Technology staff and are equipped with College standard applications and utilities.
Faculty members can login to the instructor station using their Stonehill account. Support for the technology in the classrooms is handled through the IT Help Desk, (508) 565-HELP
There are 3 different control configurations in our classrooms:
All classroom computers are imaged with standard classroom software as follows:
- MS Office 2010 suite: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Access, Publisher, and Picture Manager
- DVD software (Intervideo WinDVD and Roxio DVD/CD creator), if you want to run DVDs on the computer rather than on the DVD player

Classrooms with Crestron Control Systems
All of the classrooms and labs in the Shields Science Center use Crestron Control Systems. These are wall mounted panels you can use to operate the video projector, select the input for the projector, and control the volume. The projector screen is controlled by a switch on the wall located near the Crestron Control panel.
Please refer to the documentation below for step by step instruction and note that these instructions are also available in each classroom.
