Jacqueline Dunn, a senior Marketing major at the College, will be a "Style Guru" for the website Collegefashionista.com this fall.

I am so excited to be a Style Guru for this upcoming fall semester. My name is Jacqueline Dunn and I am a senior at Stonehill College in North Easton, MA. I am a Marketing major with a strong interest in Retail Management and Buying. When describing my style, I have to admit I don't fall under one particular category. I love to try out new trends and am always searching for the next best thing. Regardless of my ever changing style, I stick to one rule, which is to keep it classy and comfortable!

Ever since I was in middle school my friends were star athletes or gymnasts. I tried my share of after school activities, ranging from softball to ballet, but nothing resonated with me as much as fashion. I've enjoyed advising my friends and family on new fashion and styling tips, and they have been eager to listen. Now that I am a senior in college I have been able to expand my horizons and have experienced the fashion industry in a variety of ways.

This summer I interned at Marie Claire magazine in New York City and worked in the fashion closet as an accessories and fine jewelry intern. I have to say, it was a thrilling experience and was exciting to see the latest trends flow in and out of the fashion closet. It expanded my knowledge of designers, trends and even beauty products! I also interned at SUCCARRA in Boston, which is a public relations firm that represents 26 different jewelry designers. At SUCCARRA I was fortunate to have a more hands on experience and was even able to create and send trend reports to the jewelry designers in hopes of providing a source of inspiration! With that being said, I am anxious to start scoping Stonehill's campus for fellow Fashionistas!
