The Strategic Plan

Above & Beyond, Stonehill's third strategic plan, is the product of a planning effort that began in the Spring of 2008 with a series of town hall meetings. Spanning 2011 through 2015, the plan contains a number of objectives centered on five key strategies:

Raising Expectations

Foster a culture of student academic achievement, community involvement and civic engagement.

Building Character

Build character in students while strengthening the character of the institution.

Creating Advantage

Differentiate a Stonehill education by augmenting signature programs and creating distinctiveness that results in improved student outcomes.

Enhancing Diversity

Enhance the diversity of persons, programs and traditions at Stonehill.

Strengthening Community

Build an organizational culture that strengthens our services to students and that can lead Stonehill to be recognized as a great place to work.

The Strategic Plan in Action

This spring, the Planning Committee launched the fifth edition of the Strategy Report, a report on Stonehill's current strategic plan, Above & Beyond. The Strategy Report will be issued twice each year to heighten the Stonehill community's awareness of the plan as it is implemented and to keep the commuity up to date on progress along the way.
