Monday Morning Update
January 31, 2011
Top Play: Our men's basketball team earned the "Top Play of the Day" on ESPN's flagship program "SportsCenter" after junior forward Patrick Lee lifted the Skyhawks to an 84-82 overtime victory over Le Moyne last Tuesday. Lee's turnaround half court heave at the buzzer was the #1 play on the show's popular "Top Ten Plays of the Day" segment. To see a video of Lee's buzzer beater on SportsCenter, visit here.
Federal Regulations: Ensuring compliance with burgeoning federal regulations is no easy task, but doing so is imperative in business today. Shout Out: Business Administration major Stephen Murphy '79 was elected President of the Boston City Council by his fellow councilors early in January. A city councilor since 1997, Murphy noted that budget woes, with Boston expected to lose $71 million in federal aid, will make this year a challenging one.
