Hillspot secure Wireless -Windows XP configuration
Step 1: Click Start, select Settings,and then Network Connections.

Step 2: Under Network Connections, locate your wireless adapter, right click and select Properties
Step 3: Click on the Wireless Networks tab. Under Preferred Networks, Click Add. If you DO NOT, see the Wireless Networks tab in this step, close this window and proceed to Step 3A. If you DO see the wireless networks tab, proceed to Step 4 and skip Step 3A.
Step 3a: If you do not see the Wireless Networks tab in Step 3, double click on the Intel PROset/Wireless Icon in the system tray.
In the Intel PROSet/Wifi Conection Utility window, select Advanced and then select Use Windows to Manage Wifi.
Now that Windows is managing your wireless, repeat Step 2 and you will see the Wireless Networks tab in Step 3.
Step 4: In the Wireless Network Properties Window, type in the SSID in the network name (SSID) box: hillspot
Select Connect even if this network is not broadcasting and for Wireless Network key, select WPA2 for network authentication and select AES for data encryption.
Step 5: In the Authentication tab at the top of Wireless Network Properties, select EAP Type:Protected EAP (PEAP). Then select Properties.
Step 6: In the Protected PEAP Properties Window, uncheck Validate server certificate. Select Secured password (EAP-MSCHAP v2) for authentication method. Then click Configure. IN the EAP-MSCHAP v2 Properties window, uncheck Automatically Use my Windows logon name and password (and domain if any). Then click OK.

Step 7: Click OK on Protected EAP Properties and Wireless Network Properties windows.
Step 8: If hillspot is not already at the top of your Preferred Networks list, select hillspot(automatic) and click the Move Up button until the hillspot (automatic) is the first in the list, then click OK.
Step 9: You should see white bubble pop up (Wireless Network Connection) in bottom right hand corner of your desktop. Click in the bubble.
Step 10: You should see a login box open in the center of the desktop.
Enter your (stonehill Domain) username and password (leave domain blank)
You should now be connected to the hillspot network.
