Types of Aid & Scholarship
Scholarship and Financial Aid come in several forms:
Scholarships
Scholarships and grants are considered gift aid, which means there is no repayment obligation. The gift aid described on these pages is available for Full-time students. The CSS Profile is required for initial consideration for all types of Stonehill-funded gift aid. The FAFSA is required for all initial and renewal scholarships unless otherwise noted. There are several different scholarship types:
- Funds awarded by the Government
- Funds awarded by Stonehill College
- Funds that have been gifted to Stonehill College as endowment, i.e., Restricted and Endowed Scholarships. Many of these scholarships carry restrictions as stipulated by the donors.
Loans & Jobs
Loans and jobs are self-help assistance and require repayment or a work commitment.
