Remotely connecting to desktop from home

On your work machine, go to the desktop. Right click on "My Computer" and go to "Properties". Make sure "Allow users to connect remotely to this computer" is checked.

Access Remote Desktop by going to Start->All Programs->Accessories->Communications->Remote Desktop

To end your Remote Desktop session, Click on Start --> Log off at the bottom of the Start Menu.
