When he wasn't working for Facilities during the summer, accounting major Billy Rust '12 liked to fish in Ames Pond behind O'Hara Hall with his friends Pat Dempsey and Dan Edward. Earlier this month, Rust caught a seven pound largemouth Bass in the Pond. After his friends snapped this picture, he released the fish back into the Pond.

In his College Academy rocketry class, Adam Brousseau, 11, named his hand-crafted rocket -- Skyhawk 16. And, for the blastoff of Skyhawk 16, which took place on the Quad, the junior scientist wore a Stonehill tee-shirt. Earlier this week, photographer Lu Ann Totman captured the launch of Skyhawk 16 as well as Adam with his mom Erin Brousseau who is our Enrollment Systems Manager.

If in 1986, John McKee (R) & Bill Gormley (L) had told their Poli Sci Prof. George Gallant that they would end up working with soldiers from formerly communist Poland, he would have said they were crazy. Now lieutenant colonels, they are in Afghanistan at a Forward Operating Base run by Polish troops with a few Americans. Team Leader of a Human Terrain Team, Gormley researches local culture. Detachment Commander for an Information Operations Group, McKee rallies support for the Afghan govt.
