How do I receive the tickets for the Commencement Exercise?
The tickets will be available in April and the graduates will be notified. Each graduate needs to pick up their tickets and invitations in person at the bookstore.
Are extra tickets available for Commencement?
Each graduate is given six tickets for the Commencement Exercises and six keepsake invitations. If the ceremony is held outdoors non ticket holders are welcome, there is plenty of seating in the perimeter of the general seating area or you may bring your own lawn chair.
All guests need a ticket if the ceremony is moved indoors due to rain. Because of space limitations students are only allowed six tickets. For non ticket holders the Hemingway Theatre in the Duffy Academic Center and Roche Dining Commons A will be available for guests to watch the ceremony on a large projection screen.
Are personalized announcements available?
Personalized graduation announcements are available through Josten's, Inc. for those who are interested. Please visit their website for ordering information.

What time should we arrive for the Commencement ceremony?
The ceremony begins promptly at 10:00 am and guests start arriving between 8:30am and 9:00am.
Is there reserved seating?
Seating is on a first-come first-serve basis. Accommodations will be provided for guests with physical disabilities.
How do I go about making arrangements for accessible seating?
There will be a designated area for guests with physical disabilities. Please call Nancy Dunsing at 508-565-1311 or email ndunsing@stonehill.edu for assistance.
Where should we park?
Stonehill College campus police will direct all guests to the parking locations on campus.
Where will the handicap parking be located?
Handicap parking will be available in Lot #3 Old Student Union parking lot. Please have the handicap decal visible in your car. Lot 3 - Old Student Union - will also serve as a drop off area. For safety, we do not allow vehicles to drop off guests in the roadway.
How long does the Commencement ceremony last?
The ceremony usually concludes by 12:30pm. If you are planning any post celebrations please allow additional time to exit the campus due to traffic congestion.
Will there be pictures and DVDs available?
Each graduate will be professionally photographed by Commencement Photos Inc. as he/she receives their diploma. Commencement Photos Inc. will be sending you information about placing orders. The Commencement ceremony will be recorded by Stonehill College and DVDs can be ordered through Alumni Affairs at 508-565-1343.
