Antivirus
Stonehill College deploys an enterprise solution for antivirus protection called Symantec Endpoint Protection. Symantec Endpoint is currently installed on all Stonehill computers and provides optimized virus and spyware detection and removal tools while running automatically.
For Students
IT provides Symantec Endpoint antivirus software for students that do not have their own antivirus protection. Students may download Symantec Antivirus by logging in with their Stonehill account. It is important to note that you must type "stonehill\"before your username. For example, type "stonehill\username" and then your password to connect.
For Employees
Symantec Endpoint Protection is currently set to conduct a full scan of your computer for viruses and malware on Wednesdays at 12:30pm. In addition to the system wide scan, it is possible for users to schedule additional scans at specified dates and time. For step by step instructions, please visit the webpage below.
