Fr. Bartley MacPháidín '59 is President Emeritus while Fr. Robert Kruse '55 is Counselor to President Cregan and an English teacher for recent immigrants.
Fr. Paul Pudussery is in Agartala, Northeast India directing Expansion India, our new post-graduate service program which has five young alumni teaching English at the Holy Cross School there.
Professor of Healthcare Administration and the History of Science Fr. Thomas Gariepy '70 is chair of the Healthcare Administration Department.
A nationally recognized authority on the Holocaust, Associate Professor of History Fr. Kevin Spicer '87 above left, chairs the History department and the Catholic-Jewish Dialogue Committee.
An expert on Flannery O'Connor, Fr. George Piggford left, teaches English and directs the Honors Program.
Among the foremost historians of American Catholicism, Fr. Richard Gribble below, teaches religious studies and poet Fr. James Chichetto '64 teaches in the Communication Department.
Retired from teaching are: Fr. Francis Walsh '53 (Psychology), Fr. Francis Hurley (Biology), Fr. David Arthur (Philosophy), and Fr. Harry Eichorn (English).
Twelve members of the Congregation of Holy Cross serve on the Board of Trustees.
All of these priests, many of whom are also alumni, work to educate the "hearts and minds" of our students. We are blessed to have them and I extend our gratitude to them for the work they do.
