Standard 3. Organization & Governance
College governance has improved significantly in participation, collaboration, and openness since the last self-study. In large part, this stems from the culture of planning and assessment that has become stronger in the last ten years. Many of the changes in governance in the last decade were made as a result of heightened focus on strategic needs, including the creation of a Faculty Senate; the addition of the positions of Provost, Dean of the Faculty, Dean of Academic Achievement, and Dean of Students; and the creation of two new Divisions with Vice Presidential leadership: the Mission Division and the Enrollment Management and Marketing Division.
