What with classes, homework, friends, laundry, and extracurricular activities, it can be hard to stay informed about current events. It can be even harder to have a serious, intellectual discussion about them. Recreate '68 was created by the Honors Program to give students a forum for those discussions. (L to R: E. Horanzy, C. Tassone, K. Doherty, H. Livingston and T. Lally.)
Each event features a faculty member who serves as our resident expert for whatever topic we are discussing. We've had Professor Rosenthal talk about the economic crisis and Professor Ubertaccio talk about the policies of newly-elected President Obama.
Recreate '68 also gives honors students an opportunity to socialize with one another and meet new people. (L to R: Kiera Doherty and Leah Norris)
Oh, and there are also chocolate fountains.
