Stonehill College and the University of Portland Environmental Studies Exchange

University of Portland students majoring or minoring in Environmental Sciences, can apply to spend a semester or academic year at Stonehill College under the Environmental Studies Exchange. UP students should contact Prof. Steve Kolmes at kolmes@up.edu for further information.  UP students are required to complete all documents listed below:

Application deadline: March 1st for Fall semester or Academic Year and October 1st for Spring semester.

Alternatively, Stonehill College students majoring or minoring in Environments Studies and Sciences, have an option of applying to spend a semester or academic year at the University of Portland, Oregon. Interested Stonehill students should contact Prof. Susan Mooney at smooney@stonehill.edu.  Stonehill students are required to complete all documents listed below:  

  • Application for UP (pdf)
  • Housing Form (please indicate on this form that you are a transfer student)
  •  Personal Statement
  •  Resume
  • Official Transcript(s)
  • Two reference letters
  • Health History (pdf)
  • Official TOEFL Score report (if applicable)
  • Photo (passport-size)
