What is the Science Summer Bridge Program?

Stonehill students conduct an experiment in lab.

Our nation will soon face a critical shortage of people trained in the sciences. Stonehill College with the help of the National Science Foundation has made the recruitment and success of science students a key priority.

One of the keys to the success of science students is to ensure that they are adequately prepared for the rigors of first-year college science courses. For many reasons, not all high schools are able to provide their students with the necessary rigorous preparation. The Science Bridge Program will help students to transition more smoothly into the sciences at Stonehill.
