Stonehill College Childcare Center

History

The Stonehill College Childcare Center was established in the fall of 2008 as part of a partnership with a local business (Lynch & Lynch, P.C.). The center was established to provide child care benefits to employees of Stonehill College; however, through the partnership with Lynch & Lynch, P.C., families of that company are also welcomed on a space available basis.  In addition, friends and families of Stonehill employees are also welcomed on a space available basis.

The center has an advisory group involved with developing the center's goals and curriculum as well as the establishment and review of Department of Early Education and Care regulations. Policies of the center are approved by the Center Advisory Committee. The committee is also involved with setting curriculum and long-range planning. It is comprised of six volunteer employees, the SCCC Director and the Assistant Director of Human Resources/Benefits.

The center is licensed by The Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care.
