I share my knowledge and expertise in financial aid with high school students and parents at Financial Aid Seminars held at Stonehill and area high schools. I provide assistance to all students and their parents with the process of filing for financial aid. My responsibilities include the review of financial aid applications for one third of the students selected for verification, as well as the review of special circumstances, such as loss of income. I also manage the federal grant programs (ACG, SMART, TEACH & PELL).

I am responsible for many aspects of the financial aid process, including file verification and maintaining our documents and web pages, but my primary focus is the work-study program.

While attending the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, where I received a B.A. in English, I worked in the mailroom and as a 'phonathon' caller through the work-study program, and I truly appreciate how important these jobs are for college students. I enjoy meeting our students and their families and helping them navigate the financial aid process.

With more than 10 years experience in both private and public institutions, I have handled a variety of responsibilities, from VA to federal work-study programs. I currently oversee state grants programs and am working on helping Stonehill's financial aid office transition to a new administrative computing system.

I joined Stonehill College in December 1996 in the Financial Aid Office. After a few years in financial aid, I moved over to the Student Accounts Office, and now I'm back managing the day-to-day operations of the Student Financial Services Office. I assist students and parents with general questions related to financial aid, verification documents, and deadlines. I have many years of experience in financial aid and I love helping students and their families whenever I can.
