Academic One File

A source for peer-reviewed, full-text articles from the world's leading journals and reference sources. It contains nearly 9,000 academic journals, more than twice the number of titles currently found Expanded Academic ASAP. Updated Daily.


Academic Search Premier

A scholarly, mulit-disciplinary database containing full text for nearly 4,650 serials, including more than 3,600 peer-reviewed publications. Also, this database offers indexing and abstracts for more than 8,200 journals in the collection.


ACS Publications

Has over 30 full text journals from the American Chemical Society. Years of full text coverage vary with each title.

America: History and Life
Contains article abstracts on the history and culture of the United States and Canada from prehistoric times to the present. An EbscoHost database.

American Civil War: Letters and Diaries

Contains 1,920 authors and approximately 97,000 pages of information. When complete, the collection will include more than 100,000 pages of primary materials. Each source has been carefully chosen using leading bibliographies. An Alexander Street Press database.


American Film Scripts Online

Contains 265 scripts by 334 writers together with detailed, fielded information on the scenes, characters and people related to the scripts. An Alexander Street Press database.


American National Biography

The premier biographical resource for notable people in American history. It contains biographies of 17,400 men and women, from all eras and walks of life, whose lives have shaped the nation.


America's Historical Newspapers

Allows users to search more than 1,000 U.S. historical newspapers published between 1690 and 1922, including titles from all 50 states.


Ancestry Library


This collection has approximately 4,000 databases including key collections such as U.S. Federal Census images and indexes from 1790 to 1930.


Anthrosource

From the American Anthropological Association, features current issues of the AAAs most critical peer-reviewed publications as well as archival content.


AP Images

Four separate databases: photographs, graphic images, text and audio tracts:

  1. International Photos - Default, containing the entire Photo Archive database of over one million photos with full captioned text. Users can search on multiple criteria including time, people, concept, color, photo type and category.
  2. Graphics - A database that includes charts, tables, maps, graphs, logos, timelines, Spanish graphics and "how-to" tips.
  3. Audio - A retrospective with over 4,500 hours of audio clips from the 1920's to 48 hours ago.
  4. Text - Associated Press news stories and headlines.

Art Full Text

A full text and bibliographic database that contains art and art-related articles from periodicals published throughout the world.

Communication Abstracts

Contemporary Literary Criticism - Select
