Neuroscience Program Mission

The mission of the Neuroscience Program is to prepare students to actively engage in and contribute to the process, understanding and application of neuroscience.

Neuroscience is an interdepartmental major that provides an integrated and in-depth foundation for understanding the complex functions of the nervous system and in particular, the brain. The Neuroscience major is appropriate for students interested in medical school, graduate school and careers in research or in allied health fields.
