With 40% of students spending at least a semester abroad, Stonehill is currently ranked #13 in the nation among baccalaureate institutions for semester-long study abroad programs by the Institute of International Education.
Study Abroad
Stonehill students can choose from over 200 programs in 50+ countries. We also have five direct-affiliate programs with universities overseas, including the National University of Ireland, Galway; Royal Holloway, England; University of Glasgow, Scotland; Umbra Institute, Italy; and Granada Institute for International Studies, Spain. International Internships
The International Internship Program places students from any major in an internship where they gain first-hand knowledge of a specific field and apply their classroom learning to a working environment in a foreign setting. Learn more.
Stonehill Student Blogs from Abroad
Kristen Devoid was awarded the prestigious Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship for study abroad during the fall 2012 semester. She will be participating in the AIFS Sustainable Community Engagement Program in Stellenbosch, South Africa.
A junior at Stonehill, Kristen will be enrolled in courses at Stellenbosch University and will also be participating in the Sustainable Community Engagement Program, a for-credit service learning course in which she will be working directly with schoolchildren in Lynedoch, a small community outside of Stellenbosch.
