About Stonehill Alumni Magazine
First published in 1985, the Stonehill Alumni Magazine (SAM) is the primary print vehicle for maintaining communication between Stonehill and its more than 20,000 alumni.
Published twice a year, SAM is also shared with many other members of the Stonehill community - faculty, staff, students, members of the Congregation of Holy Cross, friends and neighbors.
In 2004, SAM, which has a total circulation of 26,000, underwent an upgrade, switching to full-color, adding eight pages, enhancing the design, and introducing a stronger emphasis on community and on academics.
SAM is produced by the Office of Communications and Media Relations. Its managing editor is Martin McGovern.
