For the 3rd consecutive year since moving into the category of "National Liberal Arts Colleges," Stonehill ranked in the top tier of schools at No.112 in the latest edition of the annual U.S.News & World Report's "America's Best Colleges" guide.

In addition, the College was singled out as a "Top Up-and-Coming School," ranking 9th out of 13 liberal arts colleges chosen for the category.


The Princeton Review praises Stonehill's student-centered focus and its "academically challenging and mind-expanding curriculum."

According to the National Survey of Student Engagement, Stonehill is among the top 10% of colleges nationwide in terms of offering enriching educational experiences.

The Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching has acknowledged Stonehill's numerous community engagement efforts by approving the College for its Community Engagement Classification in two categories, Curricular Engagement as well as Outreach and Partnerships.

The Corporation for National and Community Service named Stonehill to the President's Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll With Distinction for exemplary service efforts and service to disadvantaged youth.

Stonehill's semester-long (mid-length) study abroad programs were ranked #13 in the nation among baccalaureate institutions by the Institute for International Education.

The Colleges of Distinction guide identified Stonehill as one of the "best bets" in American higher education because of our engaged students, great teaching, vibrant community and successful outcomes.
