Building Characteristics

The New Science Center will house:

• Research space to support faculty and student research in biochemistry, biology, chemistry, neuroscience, physics and psychology;
  
  
• Informal and formal meeting spaces that encourage discussion, collaboration and academic development among / between students and faculty;
  
  
• Office space for faculty in the Departments of Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Psychology;
  
  
• Classrooms and laboratories that provide an integration of theory and practice for all Stonehill College students;
  
  
• Storage and support facilities (e.g. animal care facilities, chemical and specimen storage rooms, greenhouse facilities), needed to ensure the long term growth of programs in Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, Neuroscience, Physics and Psychology;
