Office of International Programs Mission Statement

The Office of International Programs is centered on the development of students as global citizens by providing international experiential opportunities that assist students with meeting both academic and personal goals that foster the education of the whole person.

The Office of International Programs will assist students with the inclusion of global learning goals into their four-year plans by offering opportunities for engagement in international opportunities through on-campus courses, service learning experiences, studying or interning abroad, career-related experiences, alternative spring break programs, and other campus programming options.

  1. Provides leadership in the development of international initiatives for the campus community that support the goals of the strategic plan.
  2. Develops education abroad programs that support and enhance the curricular goals and life of Stonehill College.
  3. Guides students with the four-year plan by advising and assisting in their exploration of international opportunities that facilitate learning beyond the classroom.
  4. Coordinates information sessions and workshops that support students through the planning, preparation, predeparture, as well as the reentry and reflection processes that encompass an abroad experience.
  5. Collaborates with various departments to assist in the facilitation of international initiatives for students, faculty, and staff.
  6. Engages the community through programs, trainings, workshops, and other events that bring a global perspective to campus.
