Session 1 November 17, 2010  12:30PM

Stonehill Governance 101

If the first class graduated in 1952, why does our corporate charter say we were established in 1934?  Who are the corporate officers and what do they do they do? What is the difference between the Board of Fellows, the Board of Incorporators, and the Board of Trustees? What are the roles of the division heads and how have they changed over the years? What powers are vested in the Faculty Senate?  Does the Student Government Association really have any say in who are elected as trustees?  Answers to these questions and many more during this session.  The session will discuss College governance from a historic and modern perspective.
