Guidelines for Catering


GUIDELINES FOR CATERING
We need a one week advance notice of all events. This will allow the catering staff to prepare, staff, supply, and service the event properly.
All pertinent information in regards to the event:
                  Name of the Department/Organization
                  Day/date of the event
                  Number of guests
                  Form of payment
                  Location and layout of the room
                  Any special Diet/Menu restrictions 
After booking with Conference and Events, www.stonehill.edu/calendar/, you must still contact Catering Manager as soon as possible at 508-565-1616 (you cannot order food online).
  *Follow up ALL faxes and E-Mails with a telephone call to ensure the Catering Manager has received your request. The Fax is 508-565-1597, and our E-Mail is catering@stonehill.edu

* Final guest counts are needed within 3 business days prior to the scheduled event.

There is a minimum charge of $ 25.00 for any event, unless the customer prefers to pick up their order and return all small wares back to the Catering Department.
Donahue Hall is subject to a $2.00 per person surcharge for any function using china do to the lack ware washing equipment.
There is a 10% discount on any food ordered to all campus events, unless the event has been booked at a special price in advance with the Catering Manager.
Outside customer events will be subject to a 18% administration charge which will be added to the final cost along with the 5 % meal tax (unless a tax-exempt number is provided).
