Heather Heerman, Director of Career ServicesHeather Heerman - Director

Heather began work at Stonehill College in February of 2001. Heather is a Stonehill alumna who graduated in 1996 with a Bachelor of Arts in English. She also holds a Master of Education degree from Bridgewater State College.

Heather helps prepare students for post-graduation options. She oversees a variety of programs and services available to assist students with resumes, internships, interviews, the job search, and graduate/professional school. Contact Heather.

Christina BurneyChristina Burney - Associate Director

Christina joined the Career Services team in October 2007. Christina gradated from Susquehanna University in 1999 with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Corporate Communications.

Christina brings her experience as a corporate college recruiter in the Finance and IT industries to our office. She looks forward to helping students with all aspects of career planning including the On Campus Recruiting Program. Contact Christina.

Benjamin ChalotBenjamin Chalot - Assistant Director

Ben joined the Career Services team in September 2006 after working for Stonehill as the Assistant Director of Alumni Affairs from 2005-2006. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from The College of Wooster (OH) and a Master of Education degree from the University of Pittsburgh. He assists undergraduate students with career planning and internship guidance. Contact Ben.

Nuala Boyle, Assistant Director, Career ServicesNuala S. Boyle - Assistant Director

Nuala is an alumna of Stonehill and graduated in 1996 with a Bachelor of Arts in English. Originally from Rochester, NY, she chose to participate in a year of volunteer service after college in Portland, Oregon with the Holy Cross Associate Program. Nuala then received her Masters of Religious Studies degree from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut where she also was a graduate assistant in the Office of Student Activities. Nuala began working at Stonehill in January of 1999.

With over 12 years of experience in Higher Education, Nuala now joins the Office of Career Services and brings her expertise of counseling students interested in doing post-graduate service after college. Contact Nuala

 

Mary Ann JoyceMary Ann Joyce - Career Counselor

Mary Ann assists undergraduates and alumni with their career planning and job search process. She also advises individuals on the graduate school process. Mary Ann has a Master of Education in counseling from Boston College and a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Regis College. She brings both higher education and private sector experience to her role at Stonehill. Contact Mary Ann.

Darcy LynchDarcy Lynch - Career Counselor

Darcy joined the Career Services team in October 2007. She got her Bachelor of Arts in psychology at Colby College and holds a Master's in Higher Education Administration from Boston College.

Before pursuing her master's degree, she worked in both non-profit and corporate environments; she is happy to use her varied experience to help undergraduates with their career planning and job search strategies. Contact Darcy.

Kathy KilbaneKathy Kilbane - Office Manager

Kathy joined the Career Services Team after working for Stonehill College in the Office of Residence Life.

She attended Kent State University and brings with her corporate experience after serving as the practice manager for a large equine hospital that served the equine community for five states. She will be happy to answer any of your questions and guide you in finding the career-planning counselor to help you with your future employment pursuit. Contact Kathy.
