On-Campus Recruiting

Each year, the Office of Career Services invites many companies to participate in our On-Campus Recruiting program for graduating seniors. Look below for a list of companies that have participated in the past.

On-campus interviews run from September – November in the Fall semester and from February – April in the Spring semester. If you are interested in participating in this process, you are required to attend a recruiting orientation that covers procedures, policies and matters of professionalism.

Here’s How it Works:

  1. Attend a recruiting orientation either during the Senior Transitions Conference or in one of the make-up sessions offered at the beginning of each semester
  2. Log in to Career Connection and select “On-Campus Interviews” from the toolbar menu. Here you will find the list of positions posted for on campus interviews.
  3. Only apply to the positions that interest you. Do NOT apply unless you are SERIOUSLY interested in the job!
  4. Mark your calendar for the on-campus interview date for the job you have applied for – once you are accepted by the employer, the interview is MANDATORY so make sure to block off the time.
  5. You will receive an email from Career Connection that states whether or not you have been selected for an interview. If you are accepted, log back in to select a time slot on the schedule.
  6. Feel free to set up a Mock Interview appointment with a career counselor if you feel you need some pre-interview practice.

Resume Drops:

Some companies may post their positions in our database and request a resume collection or “resume drop". In this case, companies will be reviewing resumes and contacting you on their own to conduct interviews at their office. You will NOT receive an email notification regarding whether you were accepted or not.

Information Sessions:

Some companies may conduct an Information Session at night to talk about their organization and openings. When you apply for a position via Career Connection make sure you check to see if there is an Information Session attached to the job posting. If there is, MARK YOUR CALENDARS. Those information sessions are MANDATORY!
