The Cornerstone Program offers unique opportunities for creative teaching: writing courses; writing- intensive first-year seminars; collaboratively taught learning communities; and a variety of core courses that challenge and engage our students across the curriculum. The Assistant Dean provides individual consultation for new course/curriculum design and encourages creative pedagogy.
Summer development funds are available to create new learning communities, and support is also available to enhance existing general education courses through field trips or other enriching co-curricular activities.
