Fr. Hugh Cleary, C.S.C., Ph.D.
Fr. Cleary is the Director of the Office of Campus Ministry. Most recently he served as Superior General of the Congregation of Holy Cross from 1998-2010 with residence in Rome, Italy. As Superior General, he was responsible for the more than 1,600 Holy Cross priests and brothers serving throughout the world. Prior to being elected General, Fr. Cleary was the Provincial of the Eastern Province of the Congregation.
As a graduate of Stonehill, he was named the College's Oustanding Alumnus in 2007. Fr. Cleary also holds masters' degrees in Theology from the University of Notre Dame, Counseling Psychology from Loyola University, and Formative Spirituality from Duquesne University. Additionally, he holds a doctorate degree in Formative Spirituality from Duquesne.
Fr. Pinto Paul, C.S.C.
A member of the Congregation of Holy Cross, Fr. Pinto comes to Stonehill from India after working as a Vice-Principal at Holy Cross School and College in India. Fr. Pinto holds a graduate degree in Sociology and presently pursuing a graduate degree in Educational Leadership at Boston College.
Fr. Tom Halkovic, C.S.C.
A member of the Congregation of Holy Cross, Fr. Tom is originally from Bridgeport, CT. A graduate of Stonehill College, the University of Notre Dame and Fairfield University, he returned to Stonehill in 1989 and has worked in Residence Life, Student Activities and Campus Ministry.
Ms. MaryAnne Cappelleri
MaryAnne completed a year of service with people on the streets through the Holy Cross Associates Program after she graduated from Saint Anselm College. She has a graduate degree in Spiritual and Pastoral Care from Loyola University Maryland. MaryAnne has worked with educating students on issues of hunger and homelessness as well as a coordinator for service immersion programs since 2004. Her interests include spiritual direction, retreat facilitation and working for justice.
Mr. Joe Miller
A native mid-westerner of St. Paul, Minnesota; Joe is a graduate of the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul and a 2010 graduate of the School of Theology and Ministry at Boston College. He has taught theology at the high school level for three years, and worked as a campus minister for two of those years. He has traveled extensively for service-related trips to places such as Ireland, Northern Ireland, Italy, El Salvador, Jamaica, and several cities in the US. When he’s not administering the H.O.P.E. program in campus ministry, he can be found listening to his diverse iTunes library; biking; hiking; and reading for fun (now that he’s done with school)!
Ms. Claire Sullivan, Administrative Assistant
Born and educated in Boston, Claire has lived in Easton for the past 30 years. She is a wife and mother and has worked at Stonehill since 1993 in the Continuing Ed Office, Career Services and now as part of the Campus Ministry team.
