The Thalamus
The Thalamus is the newsletter of the Psychology Department of Stonehill College.
The name of the newsletter was chosen because of the function of the thalamus in the brain. The thalamus is "the brain's sensory switchboard . . . input passes through it en route to various destinations" (Meyers, 1992).
