Jim came to Stonehill College in July 2007 after working at Doane College (Crete, NE) as director of leadership programs and dean of student leadership. Originally from the Midwest, Jim is not a newbie to New England. Living in Hartford, CT for 3.5 years, he was the assistant director of student activities/leadership development at Central Connecticut State University. His first job after graduate school was working at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where he advised the programming efforts of the student union programming board. His primary responsibilities at Stonehill include advising the Senior and First-Year class committees, developing transitional programs for first-year students as well as seniors, working with the college’s new student orientation programs, and oversight of Family Weekend activities.

Random Fact: Jim has consciously not subscribed to cable TV since graduating from college (1995!) and he has yet to experience the wonders of the Cape.
Lina Macedo

Lina Macedo, Assistant Director of Student Activities for Campus Programs, advises the Programming Committees of the Student Government Association. She comes to us from Central Connecticut State University where she received her M.S. Counseling-Student Development in Higher Education. At CCSU she advised the Campus Activities Network, Black Student Union and Fraternities and Sororities, she also supervised the Breakers Game Room and student Techs. Lina is familiar with the area as she completed her B.S. in Physical Education at Bridgewater State College. She is originally from Fall River, Massachusetts and currently resides in Bridgewater, Massachusetts.
Fun Facts: Lina is a huge sports fan. All sports, you name it she watches it. Lina dislikes Candy Corn “it’s a vile candy if you can even call it a candy”.
Patrick Keaney

Patrick has worked in the Office of Student Activities at Stonehill since July of 2007, after serving as a Residence Director in the Residence Life Office for a year and a half. Patrick previously worked as a Residence Director at Curry College. He earned a BA in Communication from Bridgewater State College in 2005 and a Master's degree in Higher Education Administration at Suffolk University in 2010.
Jatnna Amador

Jatnna Amador joined the Stonehill College Student Activities staff as the Campus Programs Coordinator in August of 2012. She comes to us from Teachers College, Columbia University where she received her M.A. in Higher and Postsecondary Education. While at Teachers College, Jatnna worked as the graduate assistant for LGBTQ Affairs at Barnard College where she advised the Queer Awareness Month (QuAM) Committee, Club Q, and the Women of Color Support Group. She also organized events such as the LGBTQ Retreat, Celebration of Pride Graduation Reception, and Coming Out to Brunch Day. Jatnna is originally from Lawrence, Massachusetts where she currently resides.
Random Fact: Jatnna is a huge Patriots and Celtics fan. She also loves pop star Rihanna. Jatnna dislikes sand and glitter because "they just do not go away".
Cheryl Wilder

Cheryl Wilder is the Information Desk Manager in the Roche Commons Dining building. In addition to supervising a student staff and managing on going Information Desk projects, she manages the student van program. Cheryl also oversees the campus vendor program. Cheryl has been with Stonehill College for eight years and resides in Mansfield with her husband and three children.

Karalynn manages events, programs, and a fantastic team of student bartenders at Br. Mike's pub in the Hill. She attended Boston University for her B.A. in International Relations with a minor in Business Administration and continued on to Northeastern University for her M.S. in College Student Development and Counseling. Karalynn came to Stonehill with broad-based experience in student affairs areas including student activities, student center operations, student conduct, academic services and residential living.She has a passion for student life spanning from her own positive undergraduate involvements in a cappella, dance, work-study, and student leadership activities. In her spare time, she likes to garden, paint, be musical, and entertain friends with great cooking.
