Cheerleading finishes in 10th at nationals in Daytona Beach

The Stonehill College Cheerleading Team placed 10^th  in All-Girl Division II at the 2008 National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) Collegiate National Championships. The competition was held on April 10^th and 11^th in Daytona Beach , Florida . Twenty-Two teams from across the country competed for the national title in the All –Girl Division II category this year, with only 12 teams advancing to the final round. This is the fifth year the team has qualified and competed, and it is only the second time that the team has scored high enough in preliminaries to advance to the final round of the competition.  Bailey Boergesson, Meaghan Foulds, Nicole Gauvreau, Bethany Larsen, Janelle Laurano, Nicole Puopolo, provided the steadying senior leadership for the team, and have been instrumental in their success over the last four years.
