Major: Early Childhood Education & Psychology

From studying abroad in Galway, Ireland, to tutoring school-age students in nearby communities, Katherine wanted to take advantage of opportunities that "get you completely out of your comfort zone." She is now a teach in Connecticut in the Teach for America program, which focuses on educating at-risk children in urban and low-income areas.

I think studying abroad is something that every student should do because it's a great way to get completely out of your comfort zone. It's an experience that I wouldn't change for anything.
