Our Graduates

Founded by the Congregation of Holy Cross, Stonehill College values integrity, tradition and the rewards that come when you pair rigorous academics with world-class faculty committed to their students’ success. Our nationally recognized experiential learning programs and focus on service shape graduates into compassionate leaders and global thinkers.

Preparation for a Successful Career  – Education for a Purposeful Life

A Stonehill education offers more than a series of courses leading to a degree. It’s four years filled with enriching experiences that add up to a promising future. A community that supports students in finding their own path forward. A curriculum that emphasizes not only fundamental knowledge and skills but also opportunities for self-discovery that lead Stonehill graduates to productive, fulfilling careers – and lives directed by a sense of purpose.

After four years at Stonehill, our students know more than where they want to go; they know who they are and how to get there: 50% of the Stonehill Class of 2013 had secured a full-time job at the time of graduation, double the national average (25%), according to the National Association of Colleges and Employers.

More than Education – Experience

It’s no surprise that the vast majority of Stonehill graduates are employed, in graduate school or doing service work one year after graduation. 91% of our students participate in internships, study abroad, research practicum or fieldwork, developing the knowledge, skills and drive that are in high demand.

And with 82% of Stonehill students completing their degree in four years – a better rate than at nearly every public institution in the country, where it is not unusual to take five or six years to earn a bachelor’s degree – Stonehill graduates immediately begin engaging their chosen career, earning a competitive salary and building their future.

A Few Places Where You’ll Find Stonehill Graduates

For many students (and parents), the decision to attend college is largely motivated by a desire to prepare for a career. Stonehill students achieve exceptional success in their career fields, and with extensive support from faculty and career counselors, our students are regularly accepted into their desired graduate program.

In fact, 98% of our alumni are in careers, top graduate programs or post-graduate service programs within one year of graduation.

Whatever path our graduates choose to take, a Stonehill degree is recognized and respected, and it speaks volumes on the commitment and drive of our alumni.
