Why did you decide to study Biochemistry?
I became aware of my interest in the sciences at a young age. I was always intrigued every time I learned something new in my biology class. I found myself wanting to know more and doing more research on the topics that were of interest to me. When I started to take chemistry in high school, I was even more mesmerized. I realized that most of the things I was learning in my chemistry class were somehow relatable to everything we do in life, even a simple act as heating a food in a microwave. The more I learn about chemistry and biology, the more they pique my interest. Therefore, my wanting to further my knowledge and my understanding on these interesting topics led me to choosing Biochemistry as my major.

What has been your greatest experience as a student at Stonehill?
I am not able to pinpoint one greatest experience as a student at Stonehill yet. However, I am pleased to say that I am a Skyhawk. I enjoy attending the weekly seminar on Fridays, where I listen to speakers talking about their fields and new research that they have done. I find this seminar very helpful and informational. Moreover, having the opportunity to meet so many inclusive people who are willing to help students explore any areas of interest is an attribute that I really love about Stonehill.

Who is your favorite author?
I do not have a specific favorite author because when it comes to reading, I am more interested in the content rather than whom the book is written by.

What is your favorite movie?
I do not have a favorite movie, but I am big fan of Television Shows. A few of my favorites are Grey’s Anatomy, Breaking Bad, Vampire diaries, Gossip Girl, Reign, Jane the Virgin, Merlin,
etc. I love these shows because I always learn something new or of interest about the importance of family, medicine and love.

Where did you go to high school?
Brockton High School, MA.
