Working with Files in Sites

Uploading Documents

  1. Locate the file(s) you want to upload.
  2. Navigate to the location on your Department Sites where you want the file(s) to reside.
  3. Drag the file(s) into the broswer and release them  in the Drop here... box that appears.

OR

  1. Select the Upload button.
  2. Click on the Choose Files button to browse and select the file you want to upload.
  3. Click on the Open button to choose the file.
  4. Click the OK button to upload the file into your Department Sites.

Uploading Folders

  1. Launch Internet Explorer (Version 10 or higher only) and navigate to the location on your Department Sites.
  2. Select the Documents link from the left-hand column, then select the Library tab to expand the ribbon.
  3. Click on the Open with Explorer button within the Connect & Support section of the ribbon.
  4. A new Explorer window will open displaying the contents of your Departments Sites.
  5. Drag and drop folders from your computer into your Department Sites using this new Explorer window.
