Device Registration for Windows

To register your Windows computer, you are required to have one of the following versions Windows:

  • Windows Vista, Service Pack 2

  • Windows 7, Service Pack 1

  • Windows 8

  • Windows 10

In addition, you must have antivirus software installed with the latest virus definitions. Antivirus software is pre-installed on all college owned devices, and for students who do not have antivirus software, IT provides Symantec Endpoint.  Windows 10 comes with Windows Defender which is another good option.

To register your Windows device following the instructions below:

  1. Make sure your device is connected to the network via hill spot wireless or the Ethernet jack in your room or office, then open an internet browser.

  2. The registration page should open and walk you through the registration process. Select START >> to proceed.

  3. Enter your Stonehill username and password in the fields under "User Registration". Then, select the Download button.

  4. If your browser prompts you to remember the password, choose either yes or no, your preference.

  5. Next a pop-up will appear that asks if you want to run or save the file. Choose Run.

  6. The Bradford Persistent Agent Setup Wizard will start. Click Next, and the agent will install.

  7. Once the agent has installed, login using your Stonehill username and password.

  8. It takes a minute to reset the network setting on your computer. You can close this window, then be patient for a moment. After a minute you will get a popup letting you know the install has completed. Click Finish, and you are done!

If you received a failure message, you will be redirected to a Windows remediation page with a list of required changes.
