How do I login to eLearn?
eLearn is can be accessed from myHill by clicking the eLearn icon under Quicklinks on the left side of the Home tab. You can also access eLearn by navigating to https://elearn.stonehill.edu.
Using either method, the eLearn login page will be displayed. Click on the large purple Login button. The Stonehill College Central Authentication Service (CAS) login page will be displayed. Enter your Stonehill username and password and then click the small grey LOGIN button. Elearn will display upon successful login.Back to Top
What is CAS?
CAS is an authentication system, originally created by Yale University, which provides a trusted way for an application to authenticate a user. The Stonehill IT department has implemented the Jasig open source CAS software to enable true single signon between applications. This means that once you log in through CAS using your Stonehill username and password you will automatically be signed on to other CAS enabled applications. As of August 1, 2014, the following Stonehill services are CAS enabled: eLearn, Atomic Learning, the My Stonehill mobile ap, and Manage My Hill Card.Back to Top
What is a Profile in Blackboard and how can I use it?
Your profile is a reflection of how you want to present yourself to your peers, classmates, instructors, and, if you choose, employers. Profiles are stored in the Blackboard cloud, and not in Stonehill systems. Therefore, your profile can stay with you through postgraduate studies at other institutions. This allows you to maintain your academic relationships and networks using the same profile.Back to Top

Why aren’t all my courses listed in eLearn?
While many professors use eLearn in the teaching and administration of their courses, not all elect to do so. It is possible that your professor is choosing not to use eLearn this term or that your course has not yet been made available. The professor should let you know during your first class session whether he or she intends to use eLearn.Back to Top
Can I use my mobile device to access eLearn?
Yes, the Bb Student app for Stonehill College is available for users of any iOS or Android devices on any network. The app displays course content, grade information, and allows you to take online assessments on the go!
Downloading the App
- Open the App Store or Google Play on your smartphone
- Search for 'Bb Student'
- Click to download the free app
- Launch Bb Student and search for Stonehill College
- Login using your Stonehill user name and password
- You are now ready to navigate your courses.
Note: Always remember to log out and then log back in so that you can view recently added content.

How can I view my grades in eLearn?
As soon as an assignment has been graded, you will receive a notification on the Global Navigation Menu.
To view grades:
1. Expand the Global Navigation Menu
2. Select the My Grades icon

How does the email function work in eLearn?
When you receive an email sent from within eLearn, it will appear in the Inbox of your Stonehill email account. Since eLearn keeps no record of received email, keep a copy of important messages in case you need them at a later date.Back to Top
How do I add or drop a course from eLearn?
You may not add or drop a course from eLearn. You should add or drop courses through myHill using the procedures established by the Registrar's Office. After you have dropped a class, it will no longer be viewable in eLearn.Back to Top
