Analog cable television services are provided from Comcast primarily to enhance the residential experience with additional connections available in public spaces, like The Hill and the Petit Atrium, as well as in a few departments to support job related needs.

Our enhanced basic cable TV service consists of 67 channels including popular options like E!, Comedy Central, Discovery and ESPN.

Nine local HD channels are available when using an HD ready TV.

The channel lineup is accessible on the IT web site.

Hillflicks movies are broadcast on Stonehill Channel 9, where each month 8-10 of the latest blockbuster feature films is available on a variety of days and times. All students are polled monthly to participate in the choice of movies. The movie schedule is accessible on the IT web site and highlighted in myHill on the myCampus tab.

Cable connected TVs are available in common areas in residence halls, booths in The Hill, select study rooms in MacPhaidin Library.

The IT Service Desk provides support for issues related to Cable TV including connection questions and problems with sound quality or reception.

Getting Started

Students may bring cable ready televisions for their residence hall room, which can be plugged directly into a CATV jack using first time cable setup instructions. A converter box is not required.

Faculty with an instructional need and staff with a business need should contact the IT Service Desk.
