The eLearn upgrade is now live and powered by Blackboard Learn 9.1 SP 14. The next time you browse to eLearn.stonehill.edu you will see the new login page.
IT is providing faculty training throughout August. A Faculty eLearn Cohort Program has been created to develop expertise in the new system within a group of faculty who can mentor their peers during the transition. The eLearn cohort will be a supplement to the traditional training and support programs provided by the department of IT.
The eLearn Upgrade web page contains helpful information including:
• the summer training schedule with a link to register on the Training and Support page;
• links to Blackboard online resources including short video tutorials which may ease the transition; and
• a list of colleagues in the eLearn Cohort program who can help with pedagogical questions about the use or features of the new system.
Faculty have also been added as participants in a self-paced online course called eLearn Training for Faculty. The training content contains short video tutorials from Atomic Learning along with specific information related to Stonehill’s eLearn environment. Just click on the course link within the My Courses module to begin.
An online course called ‘eLearn training for students’ is also created for students to learn the new system. Students can search and self register for the course to develop expertise.
