Did you know that there are staff and faculty at Stonehill College who identify as members of the LGBTQ+ community? Whether you need a little guidance or just want to talk to someone about your experience, the faculty and staff members on this list will be eager to meet you.

Additional Info: I'm from Maywood, IL (just a few miles outside of Chicago), and moved to New England in 2010 where I started working full-time in Higher Education. I've now lived in the greater Boston area for just over five years, and live in Weymouth, MA with my partner of more than 3 years.
Tip:
Please know that if you need any support whatsoever, do not hesitate to reach out to me or anyone who needs it. Also, when you go around campus,look for the "Safe Zone" signs on different faculty and staff offices. There you will find people who can support you through whatever your challenges may be.

Additional Info: I grew up in a small town about 30 minutes from Stonehill. I attended Stonehill, and graduated in 2005, studying biology. I worked in the Office of Admission for five years, then transitioned to Career Development and have enjoyed being able to work with students of all four years. I currently live in Quincy with my boyfriend.
Tip:
Simply, you are not alone. The journey of self-identity is a personal one, and done at one's own pace. There is no rule book. Ask questions and have discussions - when you are ready.

Additional Info: Hometown is Avon, Connecticut. Graduated from Stonehill College in 2011 with a double major in elementary education and religious studies. Received master's in theology from Villanova University in 2015. Happily married to her wife in October of 2016.

My door is always open if you want to chat. I love accompanying students on all journeys of life. I especially like to discuss the intersections of faith and sexual identity, as I know that they are often hard to reconcile. I am here to support you in any way that I can! Know that there is a great community of support here that is open to listening and accompanying you in both your joys and challenges.
