Less Stress and Study Tips for Finals
Learn study strategies for different types of tests (objective/subjective, multiple choice, short answer) as well as time management strategies. Then review the importance of stress management on the body and some specific tips for reducing stress. The session with a guided meditation practice. Transfer Student Success Workshop Series:
Attend these 3 Wednesdays workshops in January, designed to help transfer students acclimate to and excel at Stonehill. (Spring 2014 transfer students should attend all, transfers of any semester are invited to attend the 2nd and 3rd workshops).
Workshop #1: Spring 2014 Transfer Orientation
Students starting at Stonehill in the Spring 2014 semester are invited to come learn about being a Stonehill student, meet representatives from various offices around campus and get to know each other. Lunch is included. Complete your transfer student survey and RSVP here.

Workshop #2: Creating your 4-Year (or 3-Year or 2-Year) Stonehill Academic Plan
There is a lot to learn about Stonehill's core curriculum and other graduation requirements. As a transfer student you have less time on campus to fit everything in, so it is important to plot out your remaining courses. This workshop will give you the tools to create your individualized academic plan, and you will leave knowing what the semesters ahead will look like.

Workshop #3: Building Your Stonehill Resume
Come learn about the Office of Career Services, and join student leaders in a workshop specifically for transfer students. You will learn about the ample opportunities for involvement - from research to clubs to internships - and how to to fit them, as well as your varied education experience, into a resume (whether you have one already, or not!).
